NELIS
Redesign of a boutique apart-hotel in Prague. Three apartments, a tight three-month deadline, and a total budget of €21,000.

The apartments are in a historical building right on Old Town Square. It would be a crime not to embrace the history, so the plan was to find a balance between heritage and modernity.
I see every interior as something that grows with the person living in it, a backdrop for the things you collect, not a space that dictates what belongs. Eclectic design leaves room for life to happen.
Here, with guests changing every few days, I worked with materials that age well and get better with time to create a sense of life. Vintage local pieces and bold colors bring warmth and make the space feel personal, like a home with stories behind it.
BRANDING
Branding was more of a side dish to the interior design, but I still wanted it to feel right. We stuck with NELIS — a word that is easy to read
no matter what language you speak. It is simple, memorable, and does not have double meanings.
My favorite use of the logo is the exterior sign.
The main material is corten steel, over the years
it will collect patina and change color
with the weather.
Together with the logo I made digital materials
for Airbnb and Booking.com, printed things like greeting cards and my favorite — custom matchbooks.
